A Moment for Beauty and Peace

The Great Bell Chant (The End of Suffering) from R Smittenaar on Vimeo.

Hope all Caregivers and others enjoy this moment for peace and beauty. Taking time to refuel ourselves is invaluable. Part of the discipline of nursing is caring and may be represented by the six principles of care; dignity, independence, safety, communication, infection control, and privacy. Balance your respect for others with your own self care. There are six principles of care for Caregiving and six principles of self care. The six principles of self care are; fit, fun, free, finance and family. Together they create The Heart of Caregiving. This new book will be published by mid November. If you are a family caregiver and want your story to be included, please answer the following questions via email, sonia.morrison@gmail.com.

How did you become a family caregiver?
What is your funniest experience as a family caregiver?
What was your scariest experience as a family caregiver?
What has been your most rewarding experience as a family caregiver?
What has been the most challenging experience as a family caregiver?
What lesson or wisdom do you want other caregivers to know?
Anything else you want to tell or ask me?

Here is a little youtube video I made the other night…
