Obstacles Are Like Wild Animals
Think About This, a quick read meant to provide a bit of motivation and inspiration to start your day!
Set Yourself Free~by Edmund O’Neill
Set yourself free from anything that might hinder you in becoming the person you want to be. Free yourself from the uncertainties about your abilities or the worth of your dreams, from the fears that you may not be able to achieve them or that they won’t be what you wanted.
Set yourself free from the past. The good things from yesterday are still yours in memory; the things you want to forget you will, for tomorrow is only a sunrise away. Free yourself from regret or guilt, and promise to live this day as fully as you can.
Set yourself free from the expectations of others, and never feel guilty or embarrassed if you do not live up to their standards. You are most important to yourself; live by what you feel is best and right for you. Others will come to respect your integrity and honesty.
Set yourself free to simply be yourself, and you will soar higher than you’ve ever dreamed.
On A Personal Note
The sprouts in the garden are beginning to show which flowers they are, especially the Poppys and Cosmos. The dogs and I have had our walks and their teeth brushing and today they will get a bit more grooming, nails and ears. I have enjoyed several days off, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air. Brought a Cellerciser to my granddaughter, Alexandra in Berkeley and she loves it! Rode my bike down to the beach to play Women’s doubles volleyball. Thanks to Jenny for getting me down there and the great players, Ann, Lesley and Mattie-I think it has been a whole year since I played. Sure glad I am not too sore from all the dives and excitement and that I have reduced my weight by twenty pounds in these last six months! I also enjoyed lots of ZamZuu Palalooza and feel very inspired to make a difference, especially, for 25 caregivers, this weekend. Perhaps, I will find some of these caregivers at Visiting Angels and perhaps, at Tony’s, 50th high school reunion. Wow, time flies when your having fun. I am excited about October ZamZuu Gina Alexander Personalized Photo Handbag Parties on Tuesdays, 100% benefiting SPCA for Monterey County and a couple of other unique ideas. Any Caregivers out there? I have a gift for you. Join me for a tour to learn more this Sunday 10/3/10 at 7 pm. See the first link on the right top of the home page. Today is my last ‘weekend’ day before I return to work at the hospital, so I leave you these closing lines. Enjoy.

“Obstacles are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff you if they can. If they see you are afraid of them…they are liable to spring upon you; but if you look them squarely in the eye, they will slink out of sight.” ~Orison Swett Marden
